Prizren Old Town walk

Three hours of slow walking with stops at the major sites — Sinan Pasha mosque, the Stone Bridge, the river quarter where the saraçhane (saddlers' street) still curves between the tekkes and the bakeries, the Şadrvan central fountain, the small Orthodox churches behind the fortress hill. Climbing up to the Kalaja fortress for sunset is the unmissable end — bring water, the path is steep and unshaded. Best with a local guide for the religious and craft context; book ahead in July/August.
